Seventh Judicial Circuit Court provides an effective forum for the fair, efficient, and impartial resolution of legal and factual court-related matters in Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia Counties. The twenty-seven Circuit Court judges have jurisdiction to hear and resolve: felony criminal cases; civil cases in which the amount in dispute exceeds $15,000; family cases including dissolution of marriage, child support, child custody, domestic violence injunctions, adoption, paternity, name change, and other family matters; juvenile cases including delinquency and dependency; probate cases including probate, guardianship, incapacity, and mental health; and appellate cases in which decisions of the County Court and other public entities are appealed.
